The Mauting VKT Friction Smoke Generator produces high-quality smoke through the controlled friction of a wooden block against a specially designed rotating cylinder. This method eliminates open flames while delivering a consistent, clean smoke output suitable for a variety of meat and food smoking applications.
The system is equipped with an automatic mechanism to maintain optimal pressure between the block and roller, ensuring consistent smoke development. Operating in a closed-cycle system, a portion of the smoke is recirculated from the chamber back to the generator—improving smoke density and efficiency. The unit reaches full smoke generation immediately upon activation.
The VKT is available in both vertical (3-block magazine) and horizontal (5-block magazine) configurations, offering flexibility for different space and process requirements.
